"You're stepping on the tail."
If you like your money, you can keep. . . ahh, no. You can't.
To lie like that when we have President Obama's record of always telling the tru. . . Oh. Nevermind.
"[T]his seems to fly in the face of the spirit of the ACA, something odd from a traditionally liberal organization. Not only will this keep more folks from getting health insurance, the pay cut will make it harder to afford it on your own."Them unicorn farts don't smell as sweet as you thought they would, eh, Spanky? Maybe you're starting to realize that Obamacare was not about getting health insurance to more people but about growing government. But Big Government is Good Government, right? Right?
Heard a rumor that the University will be limiting part-time faculty to a max of six credit hours per term, so they will not have to offer healthcare benefits under the Affordable Care Act. Has anyone else heard whether this is true or not? While one of the directors of a program that hires a large number of adjunct faculty looks into the veracity of this, I note that such cuts have been reported in The Chronicle of Higher Education, the Huffington Post and other news sources. Considering the political persuasion of almost all my faculty colleagues and how most of them likely voted in the last two presidential elections, all I have to say is:
"They're saying, 'Where do we get the free Obama care, and how do I sign up for that?' " said Carrie McLean, a licensed agent for eHealthInsurance.com. The California-based company sells coverage from 185 health insurance carriers in 50 states.Wait a minute! I thought there was a crisis and that's why this had to be rammed through? Now these poor folks aren't going to get their stuff, much less free, until 2014? My reponse:
. . . .
"We tell them it's not free, that there are going to be things in place that help people who are low-income, but that ultimately most of that is not going to be taking place until 2014," McLean said.
. . . that as he left the Cannon House Office Building with Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., a leader of the civil rights era, some among the crowd chanted "the N-word, the N-word, 15 times."As Gateway Pundit points out:
The Black Caucus members and democratic-media complex STILL have not provided any proof that the N-word was said once, let alone 15 times, as Rep. Andre Carson claimed. So André, with all the filming that took place around your little march, PROVE that someone called you names. I dare you!
