Boy, 15, hospitalized after shooting in car
Their heart tells them that these eeeevvviiiiillll guns must be removed from the hands of citizens. I read further to see how the poor innocent child caught a slug:
Police think the boy was in a 1992 Chevrolet Cavalier with four other people when a gun discharged shortly after 3 p.m. in the 600 block of North Elder Avenue, said Lt. Jeff Duhamell, spokesman for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.Hmmm. Maybe the young rascal's companions left so quickly because they were late for a Boy Scout troop meeting? They were helping out at an old folks' home and had to get there to help prepare supper? So sad. So sad. Now let's check out how things are going for another poor young child:
Officers found the boy on the ground near the vehicle. His companions had scattered by then, Duhamell said.
He said police think the shooting may have been accidental.
Judge to decide whether boy will be tried as adult
A waiver hearing began Monday to determine whether a 15-year-old accused of murder should stand trial as an adult.Tsk tsk. Another victim of our gun culture. How tragic.
