NOW We Get Details. . .

Our local newspaper, AKA the Jim Irsay Fan Club Newsletter, normally is very vague on the identity of firearms that are used in the commission of a crime. They defer to 'gun.' Not now. In the article, "S. Indiana teen hit by a stray bullet" they go the extra mile to say:
A 13-year-old girl was in her Floyd County home when she was struck by a round fired from an AR-15 rifle. . .
Do you think their identification of the weapon as a firearm that is considered by many as an "assault rifle" might have something to do with a climate that will welcome a ban on such weapons? Naw. . .that can't be.
